This is the painting I have made using mixed media. Water Color’s and pen and ink. I have done washes of water color showing the day light with dusty atmosphere. It is a busy street of bazaar where whole sale market is located. People are buying and selling clothes, shoes, bangles. Along the road is a fruit cart man who is selling fruit. People are happy and enjoying shopping here and it shows a busy street of the city.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
