When I hear the name happiness, immediately my mind is filled with bright and dazzling colors. This is the reason why I decided to make my art out of color pencils and markers,it just elavates your whole art into a masterpiece. Also,bright colors and unusual shapes attract people’s attention and they seem to be lost within the art. My first art gives the impression of a women laughing and being overfilled with joy and happiness,which is is why I chose the color scheme to be as bright as possible. I tried to create an abstract with the help of color pencils and markers.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
