My picture depicts a girl who loves ballet. She is extremely happy as she has finally learned to do it properly. Whenever we are happy we love to spend time in places or with people who we love which is one of the biggest ways I express my happiness. Whenever I am happy I just can’t resist saying that I am on top of the world. The girl stands on a rock over-seeing the marsh which depicts earth’s colors: green, white and blue. The rock depicts the moon showing that I also love to say that I am over the moon. The bright, white clouds show that every cloud has a silver lining. No matter how hard of a time you are facing there is always something positive in it. We should think positively which will make us happy, and expressing it would make others happy too. I made my painting using acrylic paints.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
