When I heard about the competition, I thought about an idea that will be different from all of the other contestants. It will represent an expression of happiness in art. Luckily, I stumbled upon a painting on the internet that showed a man’sface looking into a mirror. I thought that I would show that the man which was looking in the mirror was expressionless face, but the man’s reflection will be colorful and there will be a smile on his face symbolizing happiness.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
