Hi my name is Soha Nadeem and I am an 13 year old artist. So this painting was made using watercolors only. In this painting, the green pupil of the eye represents a new beginning, peace and revival so that’s the reason why it’s teary. The tear is of happiness and peace. I chose to paint the background mostly yellow because it symbolizes happiness and I used light colors. The curvey shapes or circles also symbolize happiness while the light colorful colors also symbolize it too.

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
