Hustle Bustle

Zara Saad

Description :

When I read the topic, ‘Bazars of my city’, I immediately had an image of a busy street in my head. People everywhere, stalls with various colored foods, loads of colours, and lights. This then reminded me of a trip I took to Lahore’s inner city, where I did a lot of photography in the markets. Combining the image in my head and one of the pictures I found, I created this piece on my iPad using an Autodesk sketchbook, first sketching everything out in black. By the end, I decided that the black lines looked a bit too harsh with the slightly muted background tones so I added another layer and removed the sketch at the end after coloring.
