I made this art piece after thinking and researching about this topic too much. This topic was not so easy. I tried my level best to do this. I made empress market and anarkali market. I want to show how people work hard to earn money. Also, how much markets (bazaars) are important in our life. I used the mediums such as colour pencils, markers, highlighters and etc. My title is OLD IS GOLD because, I want to show that old markets are treasure for us. I hope you like my art piece! Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
