About myself: Hello, my name is Zainab Ahmer. I’m from JTCG and 14 years old. I’ve started arts at the time of lockdown in search of new hobbies and grasped the medium of Digital Arts! About my art piece: What I’ve drawn here is a mixture of my childhood happiness.. The things I’ve spent my childhood doing such as watching cartoons, playing games and learning how to draw etc. The houses represent the 3 things that were really important to me back then (my coloring kit, my skates, cartoons). The Clouds in the background are slowly covering those houses because I believe I’ve grown over to like those 3 things, the Hot air balloons in the sky represent how I’m finally letting go of my past obsessions.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
