The change in society

Asawir Ahmed Bajwa

Description :

I wanted to make a piece that was relative to the changing society. I wanted to use different mediums to create different textures and variety. I was born in Lahore so I decided to use it as inspiration. Lahore is a city which has a lot of variety. It has modern shops in other areas and other shops in other areas. It is very diverse in culture. One side of my art piece represents the modern culture that is quickly becoming a favourite. In the modern side we don’t see much human interaction because we are slowly drifting apart and everyone around us is starting to get loot in their own world. The other side is more of the usual culture found in Punjab. Society is changing and my “master piece” represents that.
