So this piece shows how there are different ways/things which bring us happiness.many of us feel joy and zen when we are out in nature,and others when we are with our friends and loved ones while some of us feel joy and happiness while making an art piece so since the theme is  “expressions of happiness” I decided to combine all of those and made this piece where 2 friends are having a fun picnic in nature and they are playing with a dog and they made a painting together, and because they’re doing a lot of things that brings them joy they are bound to live a happy life.

Mixed Media Art:

Mixed media is a term used to describe artworks composed from a combination of different media or materials. Students can combine a variety of media and artistic techniques to create the Art piece. The painting and drawing techniques may include layering, texturizing, slicing, weaving, collage and creating a peeled paint effect. The materials that can be used vary from cloth, wood, paper, paint, metal, stones, and more. In this type of art different media or materials are mixed into one piece.

Art Work will be submitted in the form of images. Below are the image submission specifications.

  • Supported Image formats: The image may be uploaded in any one of the formats i.e. JPG/JPEG or PNG
  • Allowed file sizes: The image size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Dimensions for Image: The images should be in landscape mode.
