Vice Versa

Aaron Mall

Description :

This is an abstract description of a bazaar in my city. It shows two extremes, these extremes are factually based. The overall impact of my installation. the boldness of colors contrasts with the theme of abstraction. There is a variation of colors, shapes and textures, and variation of materials. The acrylic slabs, broken mirror, and plastic geometric shapes. The boundary of my installation is with geometric shapes. These represent the liveliness, festivity, cheerfulness, and celebrations of a typical bazaar. The addition and subtraction symbols represent the buying and selling in the market. The acrylic neon slabs represent the different economic groups. The core of the installation is the broken mirror. The two wired portraits and figurative slabs, when peeped give a broken reflection in this mirror. This represents the harsh reality, some of those negative aspects of the bazaar are rising costs, theft, transgenders, and unluckily prostitution.
