Garden of Reflected Wisdom

Artist Name: Muhammad Yahya Waqas

About Artist:

My name is Muhammad Yahya Waqas, and I am 13 years old. Garden of Reflected Wisdom captures the timeless beauty of Shalimar Bagh in Lahore. Through this photograph, I aimed to highlight the harmony between history and nature by showcasing the garden’s reflections and intricate design. Taken at sunset, the image reveals the serene charm and enduring elegance of this historical place, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate its tranquil allure.

Artist Statement:

Time seems to stop in this historic garden’s calm waters. The waning sunlight of Shalimar Bagh are perfectly reflected, not only in stone but also in centuries of peace, culture, and thought. More than just architecture is captured in this image; it also documents a silent conversation between the constructed environment and its mirrored spirit. A sigh of wisdom, a moment of calm, reflected back at us. See the reflection, as it is a moment of Wisdom!
