Artist Name: Moosa Omar Hayat
About Artist:
I am Moosa Omar Hayat from Beaconhouse Newlands Lahore, and I study in Class 8D. I come from an artistic heritage; my mother, Mehak Haifzullah Baloch, is a designer and knows multiple artistic techniques. I learn from her teachings and use her knowledge in my work. I often find myself in the sketching and drawing category in design and arts, as I believe I excel at that. I recently achieved the School Topper Award from the “Art for Change” challenge while also displaying my art in the exhibition. I hope to win something from this challenge as well to make my school proud.
Artist Statement:
This glowing perspective was captured during the hot summer of Khairpur Mirs. This photograph unravels the view of the graceful Faiz Mahal, which is the royal residence of the Talpur dynasty. The corridor is filled with intricately decorated arches and vibrant floors, all of them carrying the remnants of the centuries past. As the Sun glows, passing its light through the ancient archways, it paints an unforgettable view of lights and shadows dancing, creating delicate reflections on the patterned tiles of the floor. The image is a tribute to the fleeting moments when architecture, history, and nature’s power converge, offering a glimpse into a regal past bathed in warmth and mystery.
